Based on the continuous great success of the 1st (PingTung, 2007)、2nd (Taipei, 2009)、3rd (PingTung, 2011)、4th (Taipei, 2013)、5th (Tainan, 2015) and 6th (Kaohsiung, 2017), We are pleased to invite you to attend the 7th ACTSEA. The purpose of this series of symposium is to provide an international scientific forum for discussion and exchange of ideas on the state-of the art in processing and properties and up-to date research and development of advanced ceramics and technology for renewable and sustainable energy as well as energy efficient applications.
The participants from industries, universities, and research laboratories will discuss recent R&D advanced, field applications, and current and future challenges for creating ceramics with unique properties as well as for bringing these ceramics to the markplace. The ACTSEA 2021 will be held at the National Taipei University of Technology) in Taiwan. Due to an uncertain COVID-19 situation that resulted in a very difficult travel restriction for most countries and researchers, this conference is only offering on-line participation to the event with Virtual Video Presentation.
Background
Material technologies to achieve sustainable energy have attracted worldwide attentions in recent years. Among these technologies, engineering ceramics are used for their potential benefits, including high temperature stability and environmental friendliness etc. Recent interests and advances in nano-ceramics have opened new vistas for energy applications. The participants from industries, universities, and research laboratories will discuss recent advances, developments, field applications, and future challenges for creating ceramics with unusual properties as well as for bringing these ceramics to the marketplace. The presentation and discussion will focus on both basic science and technology aspects. This will result in an improved science and technology base that will ultimately serve to accelerate the development of advanced ceramics for sustainable energy applications.
