With the rapid development of technologies such as AI, Green Energy, and high-speed wireless communication, electronic products are not only demanded for their multifunctionality and the past requirements of being lightweight, thin, short, and small, but the introduction of high-performance computing and cloud computing has also accelerated the vigorous growth of the Semiconductor Industry. The relevant semiconductor technologies and their application nodes present significant challenges for developing semiconductor materials, packaging, and associated passive components.
Therefore, based on the demands of technological development, it can be observed that the application of certain Ceramic Materials and their processing techniques play a critical role in advanced semiconductors, packaging, and passive components overall.
The Industrial Technology Research Institute(ITRI), National Taipei University of Technology(NTUT), Taiwan Ceramic Society(TCERS), and Taiwan Passive Component Industry Association(TPCIA) have jointly organized the"Advanced Ceramic Materials Technology Forum - Semiconductors, Packaging, and Passive Components." Through the initiation of this forum, international and local researchers in the ceramic research are invited to thoroughly analyze, study, and discuss issues related to advanced semiconductors.
I want to invite everyone to participate in this technical forum. Through discussions and sharing at this forum, we aim to enhance the advancement of the ceramic technology industry and promote the application of ceramic materials in semiconductors, packaging, and passive components.
